Rockford Park District invites tennis enthusiasts, present and future, for an afternoon of free outdoor tennis fun at the Tennis Summer Kick-Off at Guilford Tennis Center, 5702 Guilford Rd., Rockford, on Saturday, May 10, noon-4:00 p.m. Activities will include:

• Free introductory lessons for all ages
• Free skill level evaluations
• Free tennis racquet to youth age 15 and under present at the event who sign up for a summer tennis program
