“This accomplishment is a big deal for everyone involved in our program as it’s a team effort involving participants, coaches, parents, families, friends, and mentors. Our program provides a chance for five- to eighteen-year-olds, boys, and girls, to learn the fundamentals of track and field, recreation, nutrition, sportsmanship, and self-esteem. We help build not only amazing athletes but these are future leaders of our community and we wish them the best of luck representing our community,” says Youth Sports Manager Lamont Jones.
