New Swings and Spirits Adult Golf Lessons offered at Aldeen
Rockford Park District’s Aldeen Golf Club will host a new series of adult golf lessons for ages 21 and older this spring and summer, great for a couples’ night out or for the casual golfer who wants to improve their game in a relaxed setting while enjoying the ambience at Aldeen.
Classes cover all aspects of the game, and are designed to target specific areas: putting/chipping, wedges, irons, trouble shots/accuracy, and full swing/accuracy; each session will focus on a different area. Sessions are instructed by PGA members and PGA apprentices, and meet Friday evenings and Saturday mornings, April 6-June 16, 2018 for $32 per session ($38 non-resident); attend all, some, or one.
Lesson participants will each receive a $6 gift card to use at the on-site Graystone Grill to enjoy a snack, meal, or beverage of their choice.
Register at least one week before session start dates, either online, or at Park District Customer Service locations: UW Health Sports Factory in downtown Rockford, or at Carlson Ice Arena or Mercyhealth Sportscore Two in Loves Park. Registration will close as classes reach capacity. A registration form as well as session topics and schedules is also available online in the Rockford Park District 2018 Spring/Summer Program Guide, or by calling 815-968-7529 (You Play), where information on support and adapted equipment for golfers with disabilities is also available.
