Why play one course when you can play five? Get set to play golf all season long with a Golf Rockford membership from the Rockford Park District. Memberships are available now for adults, seniors, and juniors. As an added bonus, members receive a 10% discount on Rockford Park District operated group golf lesson and tournament fees; some exclusions apply. An EZ-Pay installment payment plan is available for purchasing golf memberships (must apply in person).

Purchase memberships either online, or at Park District Customer Service locations: UW Health Sports Factory in downtown Rockford, or Carlson Ice Arena or Mercyhealth Sportscore Two in Loves Park. Membership fees vary according to type, age, and residency; for pricing and inclusion details, visit www.golfrockford.org. For more information, call 815-968-PLAY or 815-987-8800, where information on support and adapted equipment for golfers with disabilities is also available.

“As winter winds down, and signs of spring emerge, the 2018 golf season has arrived, and promises to be busy and exciting. We appreciate the support and patronage of our citizens, visitors, and guests, and welcome their continued input,” said Duncan Geddes, Director of Golf for the Rockford Park District.

The Rockford Park District operates four 18-hole courses: Elliot, Ingersoll, Sandy Hollow, and Aldeen Golf Club, as well as the nine-hole Sinnissippi Golf Course. Three types of memberships are offered: Ace, which includes unlimited play at all five courses plus practice range use and motorized cart; Eagle, which includes unlimited play at four courses (excluding Aldeen Golf Club), and Birdie, which includes unlimited weekday play and after 3 p.m. weekend play at four courses (excluding Aldeen Golf Club).
