Outdoor Pickleball

The Rockford Park District offers two facilities where you can play pickleball during the summer, Sinnissippi Park and the Loves Park Playground at the corner of Pearl Ave. & Hollis Ave.

Indoor Pickleball

When the weather gets cold, the pickleball fun moves inside at the Indoor Sports Center. Open play is allowed during the fall/winter months at ISC. Call 815-987-8895 for days and times or visit the Indoor Sports Center events calendar.

Learn to Play Pickleball

Pickleball continues to pick up in popularity, and now you can be a part of the nation-wide craze that's impacting the stateline area. This is a chance for you to learn how the game is played. Each session wraps up with a fun tournament complete with prizes. Pickleball paddle provided.


Pickleball Tournaments

Location: Loves Park Playground

Dates: June 13, September 19, 2015

This is an all day, outside tournament. It is recommended that participants use sunscreen/sun protection. For more information, please call 815-987-1640.

  • Round Robin Tournament
  • Game ball provided
  • Individual scoring and line calls
  • Partner rotation each match
  • Players will be grouped with those of like skill level
  • T-shirt and boxed lunch will be provided to each participant
