Four Seasons of Fun!

In the spring of 2011, the Hansberger family generously donated Alpine Hills Golf Course to the Rockford Park District Foundation. The 52-acre facility features year-round activities for all ages, including ziplining, a snow park, and a five-hole golf course that will be home to the Rockford Park District's Junior Golf Program.

The snow park Alpine Hills Adventure Park, offering affordable family fun all winter long. The park is divided into tubing and terrain park (skiing and snowboarding) sections designed to accommodate riders of all abilities – from beginners to expert. Even the smallest visitors are transported safely up the hillside on the Magic Carpet lift. Plus, snowmaking equipment covers the park in fresh powder daily.

Day tickets are available for sale at the ticket office at Alpine Hills Adventure Park. Your day ticket includes access to both the tubing and terrain park. We provide the tubes for free. Ski and snowboard rentals are available.

Alpine Hills Capital Campaign Donations

Alpine Hills Adventure Park & Golf Center offers a variety of donor opportunities for individuals, foundations, and corporations. From funding a putting green to adding your name to the donor wall, your support will allow the Rockford Park District to fulfill its mission of "Helping People Enjoy Life."

The following donor opportunities are available:

  • All donors of $1,000 or more will be recognized on a donor recognition board
  • Clubhouse activity center
  • Driving range, snowboard, and snowtubing hill
  • Shelter, concessions, and restroom building
  • Putting green
  • Golf holes (five)
  • Surface lift for snow activities
  • Snowmaking machines
  • Walking/hiking path
