The first 1/2 mile of this path opened in 1996. Currently the path is 1.7 miles long on the south side of Charles Street between Quentin Dr. and Mulford Road. Winnebago County is the lead agency for the path. Plans are to keep expanding east until the path is liked to the CherryVale Mall and future segments of the Perryville Path.
