Youth Soccer is an enormously popular sport for players and parents alike. More than 10,000 youth soccer players start playing in April at the Sportscore Complexes and other parks around the city. The Rockford Park District partners with all area youth soccer organizations, including:

AYSO provides recreational soccer opportunities for kids of all ages. AYSO offers two outdoor seasons with games played Mondays-Thursdays. Contests usually start at 5:45 p.m. and run through dusk. For more information on AYSO, please call 815-636-AYSO (2976) or

RYSL has two outdoor sessions - spring and fall. All outdoor games are played on Thursday nights at one site, Sportscore Two. RYSL also has two indoor sessions for off-season training.
