How to Get Started in Figure Skating at Rockford Park District

  • Register in advance for a Learn to Skate class.
  • Arrive at the rink at least fifteen minutes before your scheduled group lesson time.
  • Check in at the Learn to Skate registration table.
  • Go to the skate counter to get a pair of skates and put them on.
  • On the first night, meet your instructor in the lobby at the designated area.
  • Pay attention in class and ask questions if you don't understand a skill.
  • Have fun!
