Youth Group Lessons

Have fun and make new friends while learning the fundamentals of golf with an emphasis on FUN. Classes cover putting, chipping, pitching, sand shots and the full swing with irons and woods. Golf course etiquette and care will be emphasized throughout the entire program. Instructed by PGA members and PGA apprentices.

Tiger Cub Club

An introduction to golf through fun and game based learning. This class is designed to fit the 5-8 year-olds' attention span. Instructed by PGA members and PGA apprentices.

Adult Group Lessons

Learn the game of golf (Beginner level) or improve your existing skills (Intermediate level), and have fun doing it. Instruction will cover the golf swing starting at the green and working back to the tee. The shots to be covered include: putting, chipping, pitching, sand play, full swing irons, full swing woods, and specialty shots. Instructed by PGA members and PGA apprentices. For ages 18 and older.

Ladies Group Lessons

Get your girlfriends together and have fun learning golf or improving your game. Classes will cover the fundamentals of the game, starting at the green and working back to the tee. Areas covered are: putting, chipping, pitching, sand play, full swing irons, full swing woods, and specialty shots. Instructed by PGA members and PGA apprentices. For ages 18 and older.

Seniors Group Lessons

It's never too late to learn or improve. After all, "Golf is the game of a lifetime." Instruction will cover all areas of the game, just to make sure your fundamentals are solid. Areas to be covered: Putting, Chipping, Pitching, Sand Play, Full Swing Irons, Full Swing Woods, and Specialty Shots. We will do equipment evaluations and recommendations for those who want it. Instructed by PGA members and PGA apprentices. For ages 50 and older.

Teachers/Friends Lessons

Designed for teachers and their friends to enjoy learning the game of golf. Instructed by Georgalee George, Park District First Swing Coordinator.

Blaze Golf

Designed for youth and adults with a physical disability. Beginner and intermediate golfers can learn all phases of golf at their own pace, including range and play on the Learning Links. Golfers may prefer to hit balls from a standing position using our upright golf cart. Instructed by PGA apprentices.
