Rockford Park District and Aldeen Academy of Golf combine to offer extensive lesson programs for all ages. Whether you are a novice just learning the basics of golf or a scratch player you will find a lesson program to fit your needs. Listed below are the various golf learning opportunities at Aldeen Golf Club available for all ages.

Learn the game of golf or improve your existing skills and have fun doing it. Instruction will cover the golf swing starting at the green and working back to the tee. The shots to be covered include: Putting, Chipping, Pitching, Sand Play, Woods, Irons, Uphill Downhill and Side hill lies. Computer digital video analysis will be used for each golfer. Steve Moore PGA Member and Manager of Instruction for the Rockford Park District will instruct classes with additional instructors if class size requires. Spring and Summer sessions will be held at Aldeen Golf Club.

Get your Girlfriends together and have fun learning golf or improving your game. Classes will cover the fundamentals of the game, starting at the green and working back to the tee. Areas covered are: Putting, Chipping, Sand Shots and Pitching, Irons, Woods, Uphill, Downhill, and Side hill lies. It's never too late to learn or improve. After all "Golf is the game of a Lifetime." Instruction will cover all areas of the game, just to make sure your fundamentals are solid. Areas to be covered: Putting, Chipping, Pitching, Sand Play, Irons and Woods. Also, Uphill, Downhill, Side hill and trouble shots. We will do equipment evaluations and recommendations for those who want it. Classes are instructed by Steve Moore, PGA Member and Manager of Instruction for the Rockford Park District. Additional instructors will assist if class size requires. Max Student / Teacher ratio: 8/1. Spring and Fall sessions are available and will be held at Aldeen Golf Club.

Don't want to take group lessons, because you can't make all the classes? Then try the Specialty Clinics and come to whatever classes you can. Or maybe you have just a couple of areas you need help with. Spring and Summer Clinics will be held at the Aldeen Practice Centre and instructed by Steve Moore, PGA Member and Manager of Instruction for the Rockford Park District.
