Board Commentary
Greetings to the residents of the Rockford Park District,
As President of the Board of Commissioners, I will strive to serve the people of the Rockford Park District. My goal is that the staff continues to do their best to deliver award-winning services to our citizens.
The Commissioners and I will not only work with the hundreds of partners we currently have, we look forward to working closely with other governmental partners such as the City of Rockford, Winnebago County, and Rockford School District to formulate the best service delivery at the lowest cost, finding efficiencies and cost-savings that benefit the citizens we all serve.
I believe the Rockford Park District is not only one of the very best park and recreation systems in Illinois; it’s one of the best in the country.
